She came from the Yukon and had a thirst for knowledge / She studied Information Technology at Langara College.
I’m Kim Nohr. That’s me singing Pulp’s Common People like I’m William Shatner. I did that on a boat full of nerds just a few years ago. That same trip what happened was the coolest thing I’ve ever done in my life (with the help of my partner Michael):
My backup band is none other than the ever amazing internet sensation that is Jonathan Coulton. Skullcrusher Mountain is my favourite song by him and I signed up as number 37 on a list of probably 50 people to sing that song on stage with him. 37 is my lucky number. IT WORKED. IT TOTALLY WORKED. It would have been better — uhm — if I remembered the words. Well done, me.
I’m a big nerd. I am a Dungeon Master and I’m a founding member of the Old Timey Lady Gaming Commission where we do all kinds of fun things and even run a Twitch channel. I love puzzles, sewing, knitting, painting, and I make fezzes like this one:
I love reading. I read anything I can, but I absolutely love Regency and Victorian Romance. My first favourite novel was Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. It’s a truth universally acknowledged… that I have watched the A&E/BBC Pride & Prejudice miniseries from 1995 about three million times.
The most important things to know about me:
- Sorting Hat: Slytherin. (It’s real kids.)
- Patronus: Bat.
- Myers-Briggs: INFP.
- Strengthsfinder: Adaptability | Ideation | Individualisation | Intellection | Strategic
- Chocolate-covered salted caramels: Yes, please.
